Today’s word list includes terms from a worker’s compensation claim for an injured horse trainer to an anguished mother with a troubled child. When I heard “openly” I immediately thought of my dear friend Vero from Valparaíso de Chile. She taught me “no tiene pelos en la lengua” which might mean “doesn’t hold back” but be careful … sounds on the edge of slang to me. Hope they help.
