You are cordially invited to attend Spring 2013 Workshop Series event that NOTA will be hosting on Saturday, June 15th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Satterfield Hall 122, Kent State University in Kent, OH.
The 2013 Workshop Series Event will feature two presentations: “Medical Translation: Getting Started and Maintaining Clients” presented by Madalena Sanchez Zampaulo and “How to Become an Ohio State Certified Court Interpreter” presented by John P. Shaklee. Madalena’s presentation will focus more on the medical translation market and will present key tips and strategies on how to build your resume, find jobs and projects in the medical field and continue education as a medical translator. John’s presentation will outline the process involved in becoming an Ohio State Certified Court Interpreter, where you will learn about the written and oral exam, preparation tactics and ethics.
